Superhot's Mind Control Delete is a standalone expansion for the stylish shooter

Superhot Mind Control Delete Superhot

SUPERHOT Team has announced Mind Control Delete, a standalone expansion set in the SUPERHOT universe. The expansion will be free to existing owners and priced the same as existing Superhot games for those who are new to the franchise. This is a standalone expansion which expands on the original concept by bringing more new challenges and gameplay mechanics to the time freezing title. Though Mind Control Delete will be free to current Superhot players eventually, you have to pay to play the Early Access build, though the fee isn't now known. The expansion promises to be "a rogue-like twist on the original SUPERHOT", in which ' The game will force you through dozens of increasingly hard time-moves-only-when-you-move gameplay challenges.

Mind Control Delete will continue Superhot's stylish slow-motion, first-person combat where time only advances when the player moves. This allowed for some very interesting gameplay full of dodging bullets and carefully thinking out your strategy while a bunch of people are shooting you in the face. As you unlock powerful abilities and gain access to new playable characters, so will your enemies grow stronger, smarter and more desperate to stop you. Though of course, this is a roguelike, so mistakes will cost you dearly.

Today's announcement said that tomorrow's Early Access launch would be followed by an update in January, and that will introduce "powerful unlockable gameplay modifiers, new weapons, and four unique new levels". The original Superhot came out for PC in February 2016, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions following that year.
