Salman Khan to begin shooting of Bharat from 2018

Now, on his birthday, the biggest announcement is that Salman is going to collaborate with Ali Abbas Zafar once again, for a movie titled Bharat, that is going to be produced by the Bhushan Kumar and Atul Agnihotri.

The latest Salman Khan release, Tiger Zinda Hai has opened to a rocking response at the box office. There could not be a better day to announce this association than today, Salman's birthday.

Talking about his association with Salman and Atul, Bhushan says, "We have had a longstanding association with Salman Khan from the time when we acquired the music of his film, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998)". We produced bhai's (Salman's) two other films - 'Lucky: No Time For Love' and 'Ready', both of which were successful collaborations.

And now, it has come to light that Bhushan Kumar's T-Series has come on board as producers of Bharat. Moreover, Bhushan also gels very well with Atul Agnihotri and hence, he happily became a part of Bharat. "Atul and I gel well and we made a decision to join hands on Bharat, a human drama that is bound to touch you beyond measure". What's more, it has significantly enhanced the buzz for Salman Khan's upcoming films - Race 3 and Bharat.

Salman will start shooting for Bharat from April 2018 while the movie is scheduled for an Eid 2019 release.

Talking about the backdrop of the movie, a source had said to a leading Indian daily, "It is set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan Partition and will continue to the present day".
