Gobert, 25, left Friday night's game against the Boston Celtics early with a knee injury.
Gobert missed 11 games this season after he suffered a bone bruise in his right knee in early November. The Frenchman has been dealing with a bone bruise, as well as the confirmed PCL strain according to Charania.
Gobert was nearly immediately ruled out for the rest of the game after playing just under two minutes. Derrick Favors should continue to see heavy minutes until Gobert is back.
The 2017 All-NBA Second Team center is now averaging 11.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game in his fifth NBA season.
Despite injuries, Gobert has had a solid season himself.
Obviously the Jazz can't be happy to be missing such a huge part of their team, especially on defense, but they showed last time they can survive without Gobert. The Jazz also have recalled Tony Bradley from the Salt Lake Stars, a move first reported by The Tribune on Friday night.
