'Real Housewives' star Luann de Lesseps arrested in Palm Beach

Of the charges de Lesseps now faces, four - battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting with violence and two corruption by threat allegations - are felonies, according to Booras as quoted by the Post.

On Sunday afternoon, Lesseps wrote a brief statement on Twitter, saying, "I want to offer my most honest apologies to anyone that I might have offended with my behavior".

Luann de Lesseps released a statement Sunday evening after she was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, for battery, intoxication and resisting arrest the same day.

She said was committed to a "transformative and hopeful 2018".

De Lesseps married Tom D'Agostino Jr.in Palm Beach on New Year's Eve.

Messages left Sunday morning for a Palm Beach Police spokesman were not immediately returned. The judge, saying that four of the five charges are felonies, added that Luann should hire a criminal defense attorney from Palm Beach and to not ignore the charges. In 2016, she married to Tom D'Agostino on New Year's Eve in Palm Beach and they filed for divorce in August 2017, just after almost eight months of marriage; the divorce was settled in October 2017. We were both having problems, and we were both suffering.

Fans of the hit Bravo series may remember De Lesseps Wednesday her estranged husband, Tom D'Agostino, last New Year's Eve in the same Florida coastal city where she was arrested today.
