According to recent developments, the tournament will commence from February 22 next year, with the final game being slated for March 25.
As per the final schedule released by the PCB on Thursday the final match of the action-packed super league would be played in Karachi on the 25 of March 2018.
The first match of PSL 2018 will witness the debutante franchise, Multan Sultans take on the Peshawar Zalmi.
"PSL 3 will kick start with a glittering opening ceremony at the Dubai International Stadium followed by a star-studded Peshawar Zalmi taking on league debutants Multan Sultans, on 22nd Feb", stated PCB.
Meanwhile, the format will remain the same - all teams will face each other twice before the top four sides progress to the play-off stage. Further, they have also mentioned that all the league games will be played either in Dubai or Sharjah.
Subject to security, the play-offs (2 matches) and the final of the tournament would be played in Lahore and Karachi.
The landmark final will see the two teams travel to the National Stadium of Karachi.
"The true state of affairs is that under both versions of the PCB Code (old and new) an appeal against the order of the Anti-Corruption Tribunal lies with the Independent Adjudicator". He added that PSL has expanded and seen tremendous growth to become a renown platform for displaying Pakistani cricketing talent throughout the world.
