Although PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has become something of a worldwide phenomenon, gamers everywhere are undoubtedly exhausted of experiencing the same Russian landscape time and time again.
Miramar is rolling out to the Battlegrounds public test servers tonight at 12 a.m. PT/ 3 a.m. ET.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available now on PC through Steam Early Access, while the game will arrive for Xbox One through the Game Preview Program on December 12th, 2017.
"The unique terrain and dense urban areas of Miramar will create a new Battle Royale experience where the old strategies may no longer work and new tactics are required".
Although Miramar holds plenty of secrets for players to discover, we've learned so far that Los Leones will be the largest city on the map, filled with lootable buildings, and that Pecado will be host to a large-scale casino. The latest addition will drop when Miramar and Erangel releases for players too cool off when traversing the new desert map.
With a December 20 release date, it will certainly complicate Game of the Year discussions if it has a smooth launch.
These packs are exclusive to Xbox fans as standalone offers available for a limited time and as there are no plans to feature any in-game purchases in the Xbox Game Preview version, they are the only items that can be purchased during this period.
Fade to Silence announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC
The plan is for approximately eight months of early access release followed by a final release in August 2018. The game, developed by Black Forest Games, is set to come to Steam Early Access next week on December 14.
