Noida boy used bat, pizza cutters to kill mother, sister

The accused told the police that he used a cricket bat, a pair of scissors and a pizza cutter to kill his mother and sister. Enraged, he murdered his mother and sister late that night when they were sleeping, Kumar said. The 42-year-old mother and her daughter were found murdered at their residence in Greater Noida West on Tuesday night. Family members have also appealed to the son, who has been missing since the incident, to return home. The police traced him with the help of a phone call he had made to his father using somebody else's phone.

The boy was yesterday apprehended in Varanasi for allegedly beating and stabbing his mother Anjali Agarwal (42) and sister Kanika (12) to death, police said today. As per the CCTV footage checked by the team of officials heading the case, Anjali and her children were last seen entering the society about 8 pm, the day incident took place.

The accused then left his house after changing clothes which had blood stains.

The boy was reportedly weak in studies and used to get scolded over his poor performance. He also left the weapons behind, as per the statement.

The police, however, say the teen was addicted to "Gangster In High School", a video game that should be as alarming to parents as the Blue Whale Challenge. "He said his mother had scolded him on December 4 afternoon for studying on the sofa", Love Kumar, Gautam Budh Nagar senior superintendent of police, said. The game was found on other similar electronic devices in the house.

Later, he booked a cab and went to Old Delhi railway station from where he took a train towards Jammu.
