West Virginia junior receiver David Sills V was named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America team as a second-team selection, as announced by the organization tonight at the ESPN College Football Awards Show.
Running back Jonathan Taylor, inside linebacker T.J. Edwards, tight end Troy Fumagalli and right tackle David Edwards were all recognized with the prestigious distinction.
This is the 128th edition of the Walter Camp All-America team - the nation's oldest All-America team. Giles-Harris led the team in tackles for the second straight year with 117 and added an ACC-best 15.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and an interception. Davis also ranks first in INT return touchdowns, returning three on the season, while ranking tied for 11th with 13 pass deflections. He had 34 catches for 501 yards and four touchdowns as a receiver and 222 rushing yards and two touchdowns as a runner. A first-team all-conference pick and the Big Ten Tight End of the Year, Fumagalli also was a finalist for the Mackey Award, presented to the nation's outstanding tight end, and the Burlsworth Trophy, given to the top player who began his career as a walk-on.
The only freshman named to this year's Walter Camp All-America team, Taylor is in the midst of a historic rookie season.
Oklahoma had four players selected to the First Team, while Auburn had three honorees (1 First Team and 2 Second Team).
