Fallen Kingdom's first trailer

Watch Dinosaurs volcano eruption and extinction fears in ‘Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom’ trailer

Coming hot off the show-stopping first teaser for Avengers: Infinity War, the Powers That Be over at Universal have now unleashed Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's official trailer, and it steers the legendary franchise toward uncharted territory.

Universal teased the new trailer throughout the past two weeks, leading up to Thursday Night Football.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J.A. Bayona and written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.

There's also a nod to the original movie, with a quick shot revealing an old truck emblazoned with the Jurassic Park logo.

We're reacquainted with Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm in this preview and he offers a dire warning for humanity about our fate if we're not responsible with dinosaurs.

There's been a weird lack of excitement surrounding the fact that we're getting another Jurassic Park sequel next year. After Chris Pratt's Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire were evacuated from the ruined park at the end of the last movie, it seemed as though the dinosaur-themed wonderland was done for good.

The plot for the new film centers on a volcano on Isla Nublar, which threatens to kill the genetically-engineered dinosaurs from World.

Pratt and Howard are joined by co-stars James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, while BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.
