Benevento keeper scores late leveller to deny Gennaro Gattuso's AC Milan

Gennaro Gattuso manager of Milan during the Serie A match between Benevento and Milan at Ciro Vigorito Stadium Benevento Italy on 3 December 2017

There were some extraordinary scenes in the Serie A on Sunday afternoon as Benevento's goalkeeper scored a last-minute equaliser to earn his side their first point of the season.

Giacomo Bonaventura and Nikola Kalinic scored for Milan while George Puscas scored Benevento's other goal.

They looked to have done enough until the fifth added minute at the end of the match, when Danilo Cataldi's free-kick from the left was steered superbly by Brignoli into the bottom-right corner, leaving Gattuso shell-shocked as the home dugout went wild.

We begin at 11.30 GMT at the Stadio Vigorito, where new Rossoneri Coach Gattuso takes the reins from sacked Vincenzo Montella.

The last goalkeeper to score in Serie A was Massimo Taibi back in 2001 with Reggina.

Serie A debutants Benevento - who were in the third tier in 2015-16 - had lost more games at the start of a season than any team in history from Europe's top five leagues.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has had a fairly unremarkable career.

Before joining Juve, he had played for lower league clubs Montichiari, Lumezzane and Ternana.

Join us for build-up and action from today's Serie A games, including Gennaro Gattuso's debut in Benevento-Milan, Inter-Chievo and Sampdoria-Lazio.
