Like the 2017 flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi 7 will flaunt a 6.01-inch 18:9 OLED display, which will be manufactured by Samsung.

Today, the company unveiled a new variant of the Mi MIX 2 called XiaomiMi MIX 2 Philippe Starck Edition. Sadly, the latest leak claims the Mi 7 will not adopt the feature, as the technology behind it is still not fully mature. According to a report on a Chinese website, first reported by Gizmochina, the smartphone will not come with 3D face recognition technology on the device. Since the cameras have been quite a bit of a challenge for Xiaomi, it remains to be seen how the Mi 7 changes the perspective for the company.
The main camerais said to feature a pair of 16MP sensors, and at least one of them will have an aperture size of F/1.7. This translates to about $405, but people in western markets looking to import the device will end up paying more due to taxes and import fees. But given the company's massive growth in India and favourable response to the Mi MIX 2 smartphone, the company might reconsider.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to retail at a price starting 2,699 RMB (Rs 26,500 approximately) in China. In fact, it is possible the Mi 7 will launch alongside other global markets outside China.
