He added that the girl's parents spoke to police about the incident, but did not press charges, and did not want the girl to be taken off the movie. When asked to comment on the 2003 incident, his agent told THR, "Our position is 'no comment'".

THR describes a cast and crew - including producers - who were sickened and aghast at what was being alleged as word spread around the set of the Lionsgate film Born Killers, which never got a significant theatrical release.

The now-55-year-old actor, infamous for domestic battery convictions, on-set outbursts and a almost lifelong battle with drugs, remained one of Hollywood's busiest character actors until Monday, when THR, citing multiple named sources who were present, published one of the most disturbing accounts of sexual misconduct since Harvey Weinstein.

Sizemore's acting credits include the Oscar-winning Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, and Twin Peaks: The Return. The little girl seated upon his lap is when Sizemore allegedly either rubbed his finger against the girl's vagina or inserted it inside, according to cast insiders.

"The girl was so young it was unclear to her and (later) her parents what had actually taken place and if it was intentional or not", production manager Cassidy Lunnen told the publication.

Robyn Adamson, the actor who played the mother in the film, describes what she saw when the incident allegedly occured.

"At one point her eyes got just huge, like she could've vomited", Adamson said.

"[The parents] did talk to the police but didn't press charges", producer Michael Manshel told the magazine. "I was watching her", she said. She soon reintegrated and kept going, although she had trouble taking direction. "We also talked to Tom at the time, and told him everything that had been told to us, and he said: 'I've done a lot of terrible things, and I'd never do anything with kids.' We considered whether we had some responsibility to him to not pass judgment on him". That same year, he admitted he was addicted to crystal methamphetamine.

The very next day, the casting director, Catrine McGregor, received a call from the young girl's mother who told her what had happened.

Producers told THR that the actor's alleged behavior against the young girl happened during lengthy portrait sessions in Utah for the $5 million film.

Production assistant Roi Mufas said the wider crew quickly learned of the allegation, and that "we all thought, 'That fucking sleazebag.' There was never any doubt". Domestic abuse charges include a conviction for beating then-wife Heidi Fleiss in 2003 and a February no-contest plea for assaulting his girlfriend a year ago. "He was this guy who was already known for making inappropriate comments, being drunk, being high".
