The BlackWidow Ultimate has an IP54 rating for protecting against water spillage and dust particles.
Razer's latest gaming keyboard is water and dust-resistant
The keyboard will also feature Razer's own mechanical switches with an estimated 80 million keystroke lifespan, 10 key roll-over anti-ghosting, a gaming mode option, fully programmable keys, and of course the IP54 rating. Their actuation point if of 50 grams per click. This one will be only slightly cheaper than Razer's BlackWidow, being valued at $99.99. For those unfamiliar, this means that the keyboard will be both resistant to dust and water, meaning that it should be able to handle spills without the keyboard getting damaged permanently, although we wouldn't advise you to go dunking it underwater just to test it out.
The dimensions of the keyboard are 7.89-inch x 6.02-inch x 2.36 inch.
The Razer BlackWide Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is available now priced at $109.99. Razer is arguably the most recognizable brand of the bunch, though, and the inclusion of water resistance in its flagship keyboard is bound to make the feature more commonplace. More information on the mechanical keyboard can be found here. From now on, you will not have to worry about spilling your snack or drinks while gaming.
