Police search for suspect in New Haven bank robbery

The armed robbery happened Sunday afternoon just after 4 p.m., police said.

A woman was arrested on November 6 after police say she was the accomplice to a Fayetteville gas station robber. Coutu, who remained in jail on Monday, is accused of taking cash from the register by force.

Police described the suspect as six feet or taller with a "stocky build".

Law enforcement responded to the robbery scene in minutes along with a Longview K-9 unit, but the suspect was not located.

This robbery is being investigated by the Auburn Police with help from the Indiana State Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Police said the clerk complied with the suspect.

Police said the suspect should not be apprehended by members of the public, and if he is seen a witness should call 911 immediately.
