Man Snapped His Girlfriend' Neck After She is Refuse Marriage Proposal

Christopher Tucker, 34, of Berks County, Pennsylvania, was arrested at a truck stop in IL on charges of murder and criminal homicide in the slaying of Tara Serino, according to state police.

Serino, from Upper Macungie, was allegedly propositioned by Tucker a few days before she disappeared, but she replied that she did not want to get married and she was sleeping with other men.

Tucker then allegedly choked her to death, poked out Serino's eyes, and beat her with a hatchet.

He then wrapped the woman's body in a rug and fled to IL.

Relatives told the police that Serino was reported missing after she had not called or informed them after she had arrived at Tucker's house last week and let them know that she was okay.

Serino's body was discovered from Tucker's home in Pennsylvania. He's being held at the Champaign County Jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

Tucker, 34, confessed Thursday to killing Tara Serino, 19, in his home in Berks County. He professedly told police that she disclosed to him that he should execute her. He also told Serino that some of his daughter's belongings were in his son's home and Tucker wanted to return them. Tucker's father, John, said he had gone to his son's home after receiving a call about his son being hospitalized in IL, when he found Serino's belongings at his place and chose to return them to her father, according to the Inquisitr. It is unclear if Tucker has an attorney at this time. He allegedly wrapped her in a rug and left. "When she said no he just snapped", Trooper Beohm added.

Christopher Tucker will be extradited back to Pennsylvania to face murder charges, as well as counts of aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime. A 25-pound weight plate was also used to kill Serino, according to KCCI.
