Infinix Zero 5, Zero 5 Pro Launched For The Indian Market

Infinix launched the dual-rear camera Zero 5 smartphone worth Rs 17,999 at an event in Dubai

The Zero 5 is armed with 2.6GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 16nm processor mated with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB (Zero 5) / 128GB (Zero 5 Pro) of internal storage which can be further extended up to 128GB with microSD card. Both smartphones will be exclusively available through Flipkart starting midnight November 22, 2017.

Infinix has launched the Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro globally, with India becoming the first country to get its hands on the pair.

Shanghai-based Infinix Mobile has introduced two new smartphones in the Indian market called the Infinix Zero 5 at Rs 17,999 (available in Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, and Sandstone Black colour variants) and the Zero 5 Pro at Rs 19,999. The Zero 5 Pro can be bought in Bronze and Gold Black colour variants. The smartphone offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

Infinix also introduced wireless noise-cancellation headphones - Quiet 2 at Rs 2,499 and Quiet X at Rs 6,999.

The phone comes loaded with the Android Nougat 7.0 OS with the in-house XOS 3.0 skin on top, acting as the user interface. The primary 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor has 1.25 micron pixel size, while the secondary sensor is a Samsung S5KM3 unit with 1 micron pixel size.

Infinix Zero 5 is packed with a premium dual camera set- up, which uses a 12 MP wide-angle lens and 13 MP telephoto lens and helps deliver a remarkable DSLR-like experience, according to the company.

The USP of both the variants of Zero 5 is their Dual rear camera and battery of 4350mAh with 18W xCharge for fast charging. The fingerprint sensor is on the rear panel. The device includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, and Global Positioning System as connectivity options. The front-facing camera rocks a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and support for beauty mode and portrait mode. The handset measures 166.38x82.38x7.95mm and weighs around 197 grams. Sensors supported are Gyro, Accelerometer, and Ambient light sensor.

Infinix Zero 5 comes with a dual camera setup. The smartphone supports 2X optical zoom and up to 10X digital zoom. It sports a 5.98-inch FHD 1080p display and has a metal unibody build.
