Here's How Many Women Have Accused Danny Masterson of Sexual Assault

Four women accused Danny Masterson of rape a report by the Huff Post said on Thursday

AsCrimeOnline reported, Masterson is now accused of rape by four women; three who are current or former Scientologists.

A new report claims that the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office asked former Scientologist Leah Remini not to air an episode about Danny Masterson's rape accusations on her A&E series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath - and Remini complied.

The Church of Scientology has a history of covering up allegations of misconduct within its ranks.

The allegations against Masterson resurfaced after several prominent Hollywood figures, including Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, were accused of sexual misconduct by multiple people in the media industry. His latest work was on the Netflix series "The Ranch" with fellow "That '70s Show" co-star Ashton Kutcher. A woman filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2004 saying Masterson raped her when she was "passed out".

A report by HuffPost on Thursday reignited claims by four women accusing Masterson of rape.

After she filed the report, the Church of Scientology reportedly submitted 50 affidavits from Scientologists denying the woman's claims.

The L.A.P.D. began interviewing the four women in 2016.

Despite compelling ― what one law enforcement source described as "overwhelming" - evidence, the charges have not been approved for filing. The evidence reportedly includes "audiotapes, e-mails sent to and from Scientology officers at the time the alleged rapes happened, forensic computer evidence, and a threatening handwritten letter Masterson sent to one of the alleged victims". Singer is also now representing embattled director Brett Ratner, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by numerous women. Not wishing to interfere with an ongoing investigation, Remini - who did not comment on the incident - reportedly convinced A&E to hold off on airing the episode.

The Huffington Post "spoke to five sources for this story inside and outside the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office", the website said.

The series is now in its second season and only has three more episodes left this year.

It is unclear if the D.A.'s office is expected to file any charges against Masterson, or if the episode about the allegations against him will air at any point.
