Cyborg and why he's important to the Justice League

We are less than a week out from the eagerly anticipated DC superhero team-up film, Justice League.

Long-awaited characters like Cyborg and Aquaman are finally set to make their debut in DC's cinematic universe when Justice League premieres this week, but director Zack Snyder has been planting the seeds for their appearances in his previous movies.

The film, Miller says, has "a wonderful collision of tone" that he considers "a testament to both the strength of Zack's vision and the generosity of Joss's commitment".

When you simplify a story, especially the ones we're exploring in the Justice League, where there's so much going on with the villain and the end of the world and the fact that we're introducing three new characters, I think it was a smart call to limit the villain to just one person.

Sitting down with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Liveto show off a clip of Bruce Wayne interacting with Ezra Miller's Flash, Affleck chose to open up about the main reason why he made a decision to put on Batman's cowl for DC. Rumors he's dropping the role sparked anew while Affleck sat with the press to promote "Justice League". And to see that different manifestation of Batman and his whole different style. "Henry (Cavill), Ben and I had a wonderful addition with Ezra and Jason and Ray (that) just stirred everything up". "And it's always an honor to be part of that and highlight the true powers of Superman".

Matt Reeves has taken over the Batman movie, but he's starting fresh on the screenplay, making a release date several years off. "Certainly, if the Batphone rings, I will answer". The handsome pair also answered some burning fan questions; like: Who would win in a bar fight between Wonder Woman and Aquaman? Whedon is also prepping a Batgirl movie. "That was upsetting", Snyder told USA TODAY a few months later, "and made me evaluate myself and where I was with the movies and what I wanted to say with them".

Saving the world is serious business for these two comic-book icons in Justice League.
