'Thor: Ragnarok' launches new Hulk arc, lets Mark Ruffalo 'reinvent' character

About 2,500 people were on the stream listening and commenting with wonder about how long it would take before he turned it off

With Universal holding certain rights to the Incredible Hulk, a standalone film featuring the Green Goliath appears to be out of the question for the foreseeable future.

As Waititi joked along with Ruffalo about being jobless following the end of filming Thor: Ragnarok, Chris Hemsworth interrupted the interview by saying, "hey guys, I lost my ticket, can you give me a ticket to the premiere?" "Why don't we do that in the next three movies, starting with Thor 3 and then we go into Avengers 3 and 4.' And I was like, 'That sounds great!' And so we are at the beginning of this arc". We're presumably going to find out exactly why that was the case in Ragnarok, as it's revealed he's been on Sakaar for some time. "So it was really interesting to me", the actor explained.

Thanks in part to rights issues, Marvel aren't allowed to use the character like their other roster members, which is presumably why they've had to bring him into Thor: Ragnarok to adapt Planet Hulk (or part of it, anyway).

The 34-year-old actor is reprising his role as Thor for his fifth appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

In anticipation of the release, Walt Disney Studio's has released a featurette to showcase Marvel Cinematic Universe's first female villain-Hela, played by Oscar® victor Cate Blanchett!

Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3!

Arriving Nov. 3, director Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/the Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. While the teaser does not show more than a second of the scene, it is enough to prove that the hero may be getting stronger as he further masters his powers. To escape captivity and save his home from imminent destruction, Thor must first win a deadly alien contest by defeating his former ally and fellow Avengers.
