It will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Great Storm of 1987, which hit southern England overnight on October 15, caused £1 billion worth of damage and left 18 people dead. For the last time, so many storms had become hurricanes in 1893.
The west coast of Ireland and Scotland are expected to suffer most with strong winds.
"Above-normal temperatures could continue into Monday before getting cooler from Tuesday".
