Cameron Maybin won free tacos for America

Houston Astros' Cameron Maybin left steals second past Los Angeles Dodgers Austin Barnes during the 11th inning of Game 2 of baseball's World Series Wednesday Oct. 25 2017 in Los Angeles

The Houston Astros' Cameron Maybin stole second base during extra innings of the World Series Game 2 matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Like that they did last year, as part of their "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" campaign, Taco Bell will be offering free tacos to all if a player steals a base in any World Series game this year.

As part of the promotion, hungry diners can grab one free Doritos Locos Taco on November 1 from 2-6 p.m.at participating locations.

There is a limit of one free taco per person, and even if someone steals another base, the promotion won't be repeated.

How can you get your free taco? The fast-food restaurant has been running the promotion for the past 10 World Series. So fans on the West Coast could enjoy free World Series-delivered tacos while watching an actual World Series game, which is pretty much the whole point of being here on this earth. The distinction is not lost on Maybin, who was a late season waiver wire acquisition from Anaheim.

Thanks to him, you get a taco! "I'm now the coolest dad around", Maybin tweeted.
