The 69th edition of the Emmy Awards, which takes place on September 17 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, will celebrate the top TV programs from 32 categories. This year, Stranger Things and Westworld each won five Creative Arts Emmys, which may signal an overall fondness for both shows among voters that could translate into further victories down the line at the Primetime Emmys, where both shows are nominated in the Best Drama category.

Deadline reports that after accepting the award for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special, DuVernay used the moment to talk about amplifying unheard stories. Those were followed by four awards for limited series The Night Of, which earned nods for cinematography, sound mixing, costumes and single-camera picture editing.

Dave Chappelle won guest actor in a comedy for his November 12 Saturday Night Live hosting gig. The long-running sketch comedy nabbed the awards of Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for Dave Chappelle and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Melissa McCarthy.
