Warriors land richest NBA jersey sponsorship with three-year $60M deal with Rakuten

ESPN's Darren Rovell reports the terms of the deal are indeed three years, $60 million, and for their troubles, Rakuten gets there logo opposite the Nike Swoosh as well as a number of other perks.

Rakuten spent $235 million in July to have their name appear on the FC Barcelona's jerseys. Rakuten is paying almost $60 million per year for their sponsorship of Barcelona compared to $20 million per year for the richest deal in the National Basketball Association. Rakuten's black and red logo will be pasted on the Warriors' white jerseys while white patches will be sewed on the team's blues. "Our partnership in Barcelona has helped us in Spain, and the Warriors will certainly be a pillar of getting us there in United States".
