Wind gusts at 60 miles per hour and dime-size hail should be expected. Large hail, damaging winds and torrential rainfall were also forecast. "Expecting a warm and muggy day with temps in the 70s and dew [points] well into the 60s to near 70, " forecasters wrote.

Areas to be affected include Batavia, Darien Lakes State Park, Pembroke, Attica, Byron, Oakfield, Stafford and Alabama.

Severe thunderstorm warnings continue for Genesee, northwestern Wyoming, south-central Orleans and northeastern Erie counties.

Even though the storms are expected to taper off, severe weather warning can be issued tomorrow night.
