A private TV channel reported that the body of a girl, who was riding a scooty, has been recovered.

The Delhi Police confirmed that one male and a female have been killed in the incident. She blamed the Delhi government for poor maintenance of the landfill site, which is spread across 70 acres. Five people have been rescued so far.

More cars are also reportedly stuck under the debris.
