Netflix`s THE PUNISHER: New Key Art And a Motion Poster

One of the episodic photos shows Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) in a flashback to his time as a Marine fighting in Afghanistan.

Netflix made a deal with Marvel Comics back in 2013 to produce four Marvel-universe shows and a mini-series.

The tweet attached to the teaser, which asks 'How deep does the cover up go?', suggests The Punisher will be delving into a military conspiracy. The release date for the show - which will stream exclusively on Netflix - is still under wraps, though new images and a poster were released earlier today. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone. Fans first saw Frank face an enemy from within the military in the form of the Blacksmith in season 2 of Daredevil, so it looks as though The Punisher is set to follow a similar path.

Never quite becoming a hero, we expect plenty of action and tough decisions for Frank in the new series, with the viewers unsure about whether or not they should be rooting for somebody who's so quick to take the lives of those he deems unworthy of this world.

Screencrush published the shots, which show some old friends (Frank Castle, played by Jon Bernthal; Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll) and a few future acquaintances (Micro, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach; Billy Russo, played by Ben Barnes). More images introduce the cast and the characters. As a reporter, she could have the resources he needs to get more information on those involved with the conspiracy or get any other details that aren't public knowledge. Meanwhile, the series is expected to premiere sometime in November 2017.
