Two new Call of Duty: WW2 videos introducing allies playes will encounter have been released. The campaign is aiming to be an emotional, yet bleak affair, telling the story of Private Ronald "Red" Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. Army, who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day. Players will join Crowley on some of these missions during the campaign.
A war is never fought alone, and players will have plenty of characters to fight alongside with in Call of Duty: WWII.
Major Arthur Crowley spent several in the British Expeditionary Force. Her fight is personal, and she will do whatever it takes to fight off the Axis powers in France to avenge the loved ones she lost. Actors set to appear in the game include Josh Duhamel (Transformers franchise), Jonathan Tucker (Justified, Parenthood), and Jeffery Pierce.
Sledgehammer Games has released a "Brotherhood of Heroes" documentary which gives more insight into the making of Call of Duty: WWII.
The last World War II era game to be released in the series was CoD: World at War, which launched in November of 2008, nearly a decade prior to the upcoming title, and has since been replaced by a more modern, or future setting.
