Aamir Khan has been vocal about the fact that Mahabharata is his dream project and he would make the film sooner or later.
Today Aamir Khan uploaded a video on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, "One of my toughest roles!" It is praiseworthy that a superstar who is otherwise known for his elegance and grace has risked playing a character who lacks a sense of style.
Secret Superstar revolves around a teenager named Insiya who dreams of becoming a famous singer and how she changes her life and the lives of everyone around her. While the choreographer Sanya Malhotra says the character is very ill-mannered because he does not know how to talk to people.
While his hair designer Avan promises you that his character will definitely make you laugh out loud, his character can actually piss you off and maybe he can even make you cry. It's a very colourful character. But this creepy, off-the-market, wannabe musician not only has a insane personality but also has looks that would probably make you love or hate him but never ignore him.
It is also interesting to see the way they try out different beard looks on various other crew members including director Advait Chandan, before Aamir Khan sporting the one they deemed apt. "Such characters are not written on a daily basis".
Aamir is also seen getting himself clicked with girls. He says: "He flirts with girls also".
Aamir's wife and producer of the film, Kiran Rao says that he plays the role of a music director who is not having a good time.
Aamir then emphasises on the importance of understanding the nature and thinking of his characters. The video shows the making of Aamir Khan's character in the movie with amusing bytes of other artists who worked in the movie and designed his character.
Aamir says: "I had a lot of fun because the character is very insane".
