Ubisoft Still Working On Steep For The Nintendo Switch, Optimizing Frame Rate

Nintendo Switch production

We're going to be returning to the world of Fire Emblem a lot sooner than we anticipated. Then there's the Fire Emblem Warriors Special Edition which comes with signifancly more bonuses, but is only available for the Nintendo Switch version when the game is coming out for both Switch and 3DS. Steep is a online extreme winter sports game that was released previous year for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. In a new write-up from The Wall Street Journal, Nintendo discusses the fact that it will ramp up Switch production for the holiday season, hopefully avoiding a Wii repeat. That drops on October 27. The limited edition will contain a double sided poster, a 3 CD soundtrack, 25 art cards and a Switch version of the game for US$79.99.

The$389.99 Nintendo Switch Mario Kart Bundle includes the Nintendo Switch Console with Gray Joy-Con, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo Switch Racing Wheel 2 Pack, and Nintendo Switch Premium Console Case - Mario Edition. That's just $20 over the normal price, so, yeah, it definitely looks like something that fans will want to pursue.

In a report that not-so-subtly suggests multiple times that Nintendo is intentionally limiting the number of Switch consoles it ships in order to manufacture additional hype, The Wall Street Journal relays news that Nintendo is doing everything it can to further increase production ahead of the holiday shopping season.

This means that Nintendo will have three big releases in a span over 30 days. The company's SNES Classic sold out within minutes once perorders went up. Comment below, let us know.
