While most awards shows try to keep things prim and proper, MTV's Video Music Awards errs on the side of controversy. Oh, and to add more fuel to the fire, the ceremony will be hosted by Katy Perry, another celeb Swift has been known to have ongoing beef with. The week has seen rumors that Swift, involved in an ongoing feud with Perry, would be making an appearance but the reports of an on-stage duet have been debunked.
There will also be a very special duet from Joe Jonas's band DNCE and Rod Stewart of his iconic 1978 hit "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" which will be coming live from the Palms in Las Vegas. The song, titled "Look What You Made Me Do", will also get a music-video that is set to premiere at the 2017 Video Music Awards this weekend. Bruce Gillmer, Garrett English and Lee Lodge are Executive Producers.
Red-carpet arrivals begin at 6:15 ET and the show itself will air live at 8 p.m. ET on MTV and online on MTV's Live TV site.
