LG V30 Plus said to launch alongside V30

LG announced today it'll incorporate an F1.6 aperture camera and glass lens in the dual camera of its upcoming V30 flagship smartphone. It is also speculated that the LG V30 camera phone will have the ratio of 18:9 that will be created to cover DCI-P3 colour space up to 109 per cent. According to a report by etnews the company will bring two storage variant of the phones.

The LG V30 is speculated to be unveiled on August 31, a day before the opening of IFA 2017 Berlin which runs until September 6. However, this is the first time that LG will launch the base version of a smartphone and its Plus variant at the same time.

LG will reportedly take the wraps off its V30 Plus alongside the V30 launch on August 31st.

It's a long shot for LG to go up against Samsung in a flagship fight, but Samsung's Galaxy Note ship was stumped when the Galaxy Note 7 rocked it. Samsung might be doing damage control, but LG doesn't seem to be wasting an opportunity here. The Galaxy S8+, for comparison, is $849 United States dollars, so it wouldn't be surprising to see LG's competing model parked around that price point. The report further suggests that the devices will differ in terms of inbuilt storage capacity.

We wish that LG V30 camera phone launches soon and becomes one of the great best sellers, giving competition to big smartphone players like Apple, Samsung, Sony, Moto and others. While there are many factors worth considering, but the spec-sheet says a lot about the phone and its value for money. To that end, LG has also revealed that the V30 will be physically smaller than its predecessor, but still have a 6-inch OLED display.

If the rumours are to be believed, the LG V30 will most likely include the Snapdragon 835 processor and will come with IP68 certification for dust and water resistance and ESS Quad DAC support, as well as a headphone jack.
