The Imtiaz Ali film which has Anushka Sharma as the leading lady reported over 40% occupancy in most urban centres during the morning shows. Otherwise things are disappointingly lost in JAB HARRY MET SEJAL, the touted rom com turns out to be a bore com, romance goes surprisingly "Phurr" along with director Imtiaz Ali in this flick. Whenever I meet SRK, he seems like a Delhi guy but in movies, it doesn't seem so because he is not characterized like that.

Shah Rukh Khan has held a special screening of Jab Harry Met Sejal for members of Jodhpur Guide Association today. Both of Ali's lead characters are living under a delusion. I can get a premium membership of Netflix at the same price and watch so much of content. SRK and Anushka have already starred in two unusual love stories Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012). Guess Imtiaz works best with A R Rahman and Pritam couldn't strike the right chords.

"Shah Rukh is one of the biggest stars we have had in recent times". He's seen taking a group of tourists to the various tourist spots, doing his job with utmost diligence. There are times when you see the emptiness of his life being reflected in his intense, brooding eyes (goosebumps guaranteed). More shocking is to find such shallowness from Imtiaz who designed the fabulously unforgettable Geet played by Kareena Kapoor in JAB WE MET.

Anushka Sharma portrays the character named Sejal, who is a Gujarati self-claimed selfish woman. You instantly connect Punjabi Geet with Gujarati Sejal. I can get a premium membership of Netflix at the same price and watch so much of content. The movie goes through its ebb and flow, and all you can do is enjoy the good bits, till they last. SRK's mind-blowing expressions as he utters the dialogue "Hans le hans le!"

That is just one of the "WTF" moments, by the way! Or would she lose her heart to Harry and stay back? Wide eyed, naive Sejal acts as a good foil to Harry's simmering intensity.

In Ali's movies, the budgets have become bigger, the clothes have become prettier, the landscape more alluring, but the core has remained the same - strip all that away, and all you need is love. But selfish Sejal is in no mood to listen as she adamantly repeats that you can find even God, only if you were to look for it, and we continue to look for the next city.

He is getting hotter with age, she has infectious verve and the charisma to match him pop for pop, crackle for crackle, spark for spark.
