Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Ronnie Screwvala's next production, which stars Irrfan Khan. Akash Khurana, who has co-written the script with Hussain Dalal, the dialogue writer for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and 2 States will be making his directorial debut with this venture. Fans are excited to see Dulquer and Irrfan as both of them are powerhouse performers in their respective films. Besides the duo, it will star Irrfan Khan, although the character details of all of them are now kept under wraps.
According to the latest update, is a light-hearted comedy in which Dulquer Salmaan plays a guy who lives in Bengaluru.
Dulquer's father Mammootty has also been a part of a couple of Bollywood movies, having made his Hindi debut as a hero in Dhartiputra in the '90s.
Initially, Abhishek Bachchan was chosen for this role, but had to reject the offer because the dates of this film clashed with that of JP Dutta's Paltan. His upcoming projects include Solo, a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Soubin Shahir's Parava. There is also his Telugu debut where he is playing Gemini Ganesan.
