Colts vs. Cowboys: Score, Stats & Highlights From Preseason Game

Dez-Bryant

He opened up the Cowboys' first drive by carving up the soft underbelly of the Colts defense, hitting Dez Bryant for a 23-yard gain on the Cowboys' first play from scrimmage.

Many folks expect Prescott to take a step back in his sophomore season, but his opening drive against the Colts sure did look a lot like Dak's play in the preseason previous year. While one of the Cowboys' top stars may be on the sidelines still, another is expected to make his preseason debut. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. ET, and it will be televised on NFL Network and streaming online at Watch NFL Network. Smith will make his National Football League debut tonight against the Colts. The Colts continue to try and find for someone to fill in for the quarterback Andrew Luck job before the regular season. While the star running back probably won't make any appearance in the game, a fellow star player will be on the field and he's ready to go. Indianapolis added safety Malik Hooker and cornerback Quincy Wilson, who could end up being two cornerstones of the Colts secondary for years to come. Seeing that tandem could help Cowboys fans take their minds off the ongoing worry over Elliott's suspension for the coming season. The undrafted wideout is in a fight for a roster spot, as the Colts boast a good group at that position that includes TY Hilton, Donte Moncrief, and Phillip Dorsett. McFadden played with the first team in last week's 13-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, carrying the ball six times for 28 yards. It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys give Morris the nod this week, or if McFadden remains the starter.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys will be playing their third game of the summer. While Bryant had somewhat of a down season in 2016 as he battled various ailments, he still managed 50 receptions for 796 yards and eight touchdowns.

Prescott, as he did so many times previous year, made it look effortless with a deep touchdown pass to Bryant.
