While the Unicorn Children's Foundation didn't divulge how much they were going to pay to have the event at Mar-a-Lago, the Post found that lunches can cost charities between $25,000 and $85,000.

In the wake of the Trump's combative comments about Charlottesville, several White House business advisory councils were dissolved after several CEOs resigned and all 17 members of the White House Arts Committee quit in protest.

Recently, sixteen more charities have chosen to pull out of their annual events at Mar-a-Lago as well to refrain from being connected to President Trump.

Unicorn Children's Foundation CEO Sharon Alexander said pulling their fundraiser out of Mar-a-Lago was by no means a political move.

The Trump Organization, a conglomerate of Mr. Trump's businesses, has not commented on the exodus, according to The New York Times.


Sharon Alexander, executive director of the Unicorn Children's Foundation, an worldwide nonprofit focused on special needs children, issued a statement on the foundation's decision to cancel a fashion show luncheon at Trump's property.

While a majority of them have been moved somewhere else, the Unicorn Children's Foundation out of Boca Raton, canceled a charity luncheon outright.

Since last week, almost 20 organizations pulled scheduled events from Mar-a-lago.

Bethesda Hospital Foundation joins a host of charities that have canceled plans at the Mar a Lago club, including the Salvation Army, Cleveland Clinic, American Cancer Society, Palm Beach Zoo, Autism Project of Palm Beach County and Susan G. Komen.

The Unicorn Children's Foundation became the latest in a growing list of organizations that had events at Mar-a-Lago, but chose to cancel.

Among those that are still keeping their events at the president's venue are the Palm Beach Police Foundation and the Achilles Freedom Team, an organization that trains wounded veterans to take part in marathons.

"We were nearly bullied by individuals", she said.
