Bungie Talks Destiny 2 Error Codes Termite, Weasel & Moose
If you're of a more forgiving, rational, and benevolent nature, however, then there's every reason to be excited about Destiny 2-and indeed, the Destiny 2 beta, which starts today on Playstation 4. Pacific time, Playstation owners got their first crack at Destiny 2's beta, Bungie's follow-up to their record setting baby Destiny which sold over $500 million on launch day. That beta comes later - stay tuned.
We are investigating reports of error code WEASEL in the Destiny 2 Beta that returns players to Orbit when they attempt to complete Activities or inspect gear.
PlayStation 4 players will need 15 GB of free space to pre-load Destiny 2, while Xbox One players will need 12.8 GB, as reported by GameSpot.
I should be clear, though, that I am basing a lot of this based on the beta alone, which is about as barebones as I've ever seen a beta. PS4 players will be able to hop into the beta starting at 10 AM Pacific (1 PM Eastern) and will have access to the main Homecoming campaign. There are plenty of key differences in this sequel that make it feel like just that, a sequel, rather than something like a glorified expansion. In the meantime, there are a few workarounds you can try if Olive has proven an obstacle. The game is downright attractive, yet it's sluggish. They attempted it 500 times, in fact. Bungie and Activision are set to release Destiny 2 this Fall.
And that's it! You're now downloading - and will soon be playing - the Destiny 2 beta on PS4 without having spent a cent on a pre-order.
The Farm: The games new social known as "The Farm" will be open "for one hour", on Sunday, July 23.
With a spectacular opening week of sales - thanks to an alpha and beta that promised more than what Bungie could deliver - it left a bitter taste for many due to its threadbare story and lack of regular content updates. Game Rant posted a couple of screenshots of the same weapon as one of its perks were different from the other, though the first perk of both rifles is identical.
"The big inspiration for me was actually watching a bunch of videos of people speedrunning Mile High Club from Modern Warfare on Veteran difficulty", he noted.
"The cooldown length definitely seems to be the most prevalent issue being discussed, since our abilities are what make us Guardians, instead of generic FPS characters".
So why should you play the beta?
If you're already exploring Destiny 2's world and want to test out the glitch, then first you need to start the beta's Strike called Inverted Spire. We're still unsure about the beta for the PC version of the game, but to say it's anticipated would be an understatement.
