Kevin Durant Shows DC Love After NBA Championship Win

Kevin Durant Shows DC Love After NBA Championship Win

Take it from another Finals MVP: those five games Kevin Durant were among the greatest in Finals history. If it weren't for LeBron, there's little doubt that this series would end in four 50-point victories for Golden State.

"I'm sure as a team we're gonna have a conversation (about a potential visit)", he said.

Durant - who swapped the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Warriors in search of an elusive title - scored 39 points on 14 of 20 shooting with seven rebounds and five assists. Their first shot made was a strong resemblance of what the night revolved around: three pointers. "I'm not taking nothing from you", said the humbled Hart. I just wanted to put it all out there. In this series, I just stayed in the moment.

"Experience is the best teacher in life, and he's just experiencing and experiencing and experiencing", said James.

But more than anything, these Finals proved once again that LeBron James is the best player on Earth. But is that incredibly impressive for a 32-year-old man versus the tall glass of a team he was facing? Yes.

"I don't believe I've played for a superteam", James said.

"We've learned from everything we've been through to bring (the trophy) back home", Curry said.

2017 marked James' seventh-consecutive finals appearance. The Warriors made a visit after winning the 2015 National Basketball Association title, while the Cavaliers went to the White House past year after beating Golden State in seven games.

The 2014 MVP's length and shooting ability was too much for Cleveland's overmatched defence. But seriously? I don't quite agree with what Stephen A. Smith thinks about him, but I am getting exhausted of hearing him talk.

"I credit our guys. We want to keep this thing together and see how we can continue to keep getting better". "It's just making the most of the opportunity that was in front of us. We had that huge run in the second quarter, which changed everything". Critics have called the Warriors a super team with the addition of Kevin Durant a year ago. In 2011, he would return to the Finals as a member of the Heat, losing to the Dallas Mavericks in six games.

An advice for The Game: He may want to be careful next time he's in Cleveland! Unlike last season, there will be no jokes about blowing a 3-1 lead; the Warriors took care of business in championship fashion.

Kerr returned for game two of the Finals and wins his second title in three years. "I'm just so happy to be a part of it".
