The critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy XV has released a free update, which brings a brand new mode and more to the PlayStation 4 Pro console. This makes the new update version number 1.09.
Final Fantasy XV follows the story of Prince Noctis and his friends, as they go on their epic journey as they unravel Noctis' destiny, and take a stand against the warmongering Niflheim. While the press release lacks any precise technical information regarding this new option, it does state that it "enables the player to enjoy a smooth gameplay experience with a stable frame rate". It is showcasing the games graphical improvements, the jobs players can partake in and numerous new areas players will be exploring.
As part of the FFXV 27th April update, you can earn the Afrosword, a great sword inspired by Grammy Award winning DJ and Producer Afrojack by completing the new Timed Quest.
Timed Quests Returning: Along with the restart of the Timed quest, the ranking function is added. Square Enix has also enlarged the subtitles and various text in the menu screens. As you can see in the announcement video above, it looks pretty cool, and according to Afrojack, it does extra damage and has its own soundtrack.
Final Fantasy XV is available now on PS4 and Xbox One. Square Enix has also been working on various DLCs like the upcoming Episode Prompto and Episode Ignis later.

Rupee gains 12 paise against United States dollar
