Hundreds of people marched in Englewood Friday alongside Cardinal Blase Cupich and other religious and community leaders demanding peace in the city streets.
The peace walk began around 10:30 a.m.at St. Benedict the African Church on West 66th Street and South Stewart Avenue on the city's South Side. The cardinal invited individuals and families directly affected by the violence in Chicago, Archdiocesan parishioners, police officers, health professionals and fire officials.
