Katy Perry Breaks Silence on Split from Orlando Bloom

"I've been wanting to do this since the day I met you".

And we're not just talking a few inches and a volumising blow dry.

Katy Perry has broken her silence on her recent split from ex-boyfriend Orlando Bloom, taking to social media to insist that there are no "villains" or "victims" in the break-up - and also to debut a new post-split haircut.

This makeover comes just days after it was revealed the pop star has ended her relationship with The Pirates of the Caribbean actor after less than one year of dating.

Perry captioned the video "Cash me outside howbow dah" in reference to is a memorable quote uttered by 13-year-old Danielle Bregoli on The Dr Phil Show, which went viral. "Some of my biggest heroes came from the British music scene and still do".

But like any newly single lady now it looks like Katy is keen to put the past behind her and as well as spending her time hanging out with her gal pals, the star's getting over her heartache by sporting a brand new hair cut.

They said: 'Before rumours or falsifications get out of hand we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time'.

They had last seen one another at the annual Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday.

"I love it, are you kidding?" the stylist said when Perry asked for his thoughts.

She can't stop, won't stop changing up her hair: Katy Perry got a dramatic new hairdo on Thursday (March 2), which she shared on Instagram via two videos.
